The world's greatest water slides.

Number 10. Verrückt, Kansas City, Kansas. It's among the tallest in the world, and at nearly 170-feet from bottom to top it's about the height of Niagara Falls. Reaching speeds up to 70 miles per hour, the trip down happens very quickly.

Number 9. Mammoth, Santa Claus, Indiana. This monster ride stretches a third of a mile, reportedly making it the world's longest. The boats used to take the journey are round, meaning passengers can whiz down the slide at any angle they'd like, including backwards.

Number 8. Scorpion's Tail, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Located at Noah's Ark, billed as America's largest waterpark, is this gem, known for having the first nearly vertical drop in the country. How steep is it? It can send a person plummeting at 50 feet per second.

Number 7. Insano, Fortaleza, Brazil. Previously listed in Guinness World Records as the 'World's Tallest', this 14-story giant still terrifies tourists and locals alike. The descent happens at such high speeds, riders often spend a good amount of time airborne.

Number 6. Dawwama, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It's fast. Really fast. In fact, it's been billed as the planet's 'largest and fastest hydro-magnetic tornado waterslide'. It also won the 2013 IAAPA award for Best New Water Ride.

Number 5. Brain Wash, Orlando, Florida. If a 53-foot drop into a 65-foot funnel isn't enough to get your heart racing, perhaps Brain Wash's light, video, and audio show will help raise the excitement level. It's been designed to make riders 'lose their grip on reality'.

Number 4. King Cobra, Jackson, New Jersey. Built to mimic the experience of sliding down a giant, deadly snake's body and straight into its mouth, this ride certainly offers a unique perspective.

Number 3. AquaLOOP, Moravske Toplice, Slovenia. Riders of this attraction get the back-to-back delights of being released through a trap door and then whirling through the upside down part of the tube. That last part happens while moving at about 40 miles per hour.

Number 2. Leap of Faith, Paradise Island, Bahamas. One's Atlantis resort water adventure begins by being spewed from the mouth of a Mayan temple god and includes sliding through a lagoon full of live sharks. To keep things from getting too crazy, the resort has installed a clear tunnel between the people and the aquatic predators that like to eat them.

Number 1. Summit Plummet, Orlando, Florida. Leave it to Walt Disney World to come up with one of the most exhilarating experiences out there. Before taking off from the landing, riders can't see the path ahead. From an onlookers point of view, it looks like the sliders are coming off the jump and then vanishing into thin air.
