Pokemon Emerald - Palace Maven Spenser (Gold)
Pokemon Emerald Run - June 2018
So the Battle Palace was a bit of a mess for me. I didn't have the patience to breed Palace-specific Pokemon, so I just went through and hoped for the best. Made it to Spenser on the 4th try.
As for this battle, I definitely got lucky at the end with Manectric's Thunder - both the fact that it chose the move (I don't think Suicune was quite in range for a KO with Thunderbolt), and that it actually managed to hit. Either way, I'm so happy I didn't have to go through another 42 battles of this bull :p
On another note, this was the Battle Frontier debut of my Shiny Milotic. Milotic's been my favorite Pokemon since Gen III's initial release (Starmie and Kingdra were my favorites up to that point, so I thought I should bring one back to use for the Gold Symbol battles. Well, as I was breeding Feebas for natures (I didn't realize the Everstone nature trick was already implemented in Emerald), I got amazingly lucky and hatched this beauty on the 27th egg! It's got a Gentle nature, so it's not all that great, but it could be worse, and it was too beautiful for me to pass up.
