Ed Sheeran Sued For $100 million For Plagerism

Business Insider reports that Ed Sheeran is facing a $100 million lawsuit.
The suit alleges he copied Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" for his 2014 song "Thinking Out Loud."
Sheeran was also sued in 2016 over the same song by the family of Ed Townsend.
Townsend is a cowriter of "Let's Get It On."
In documents obtained by the media last week Sheeran responded to the 2016 lawsuit.
Sheeran claims similar elements in "Let's Get It On" are in the public domain and unprotectable.
