Bullpen Ruins Boston's Comeback in 4-3 Loss to Blue Jays

After a three-run seventh tied the game, the visiting Blue Jays plated a run in the eighth that clinched a 4-3 victory over the Red Sox at Fenway Park on Monday night.  Mookie Betts was thrown out at the plate to end the seventh on what would have given Boston their only lead of the night, and the Jays quickly made the Sox pay for that in the next half inning.
