As one half of legendary US duo MURK, Oscar G has been responsible for some of the most powerfully evocative house records ever recorded. Here he teams up with Brooklyn art school drop-out turned producer Lazaro Casanova for a new project, Futro, with a single entitled ‘You Stole My Heart’ featuring the vocal talents of Dawn Tallman. The cut hints at the darkness inherent in much of Oscar G’s work as MURK, with a creeping synth line and thunderous drums tempered by a velvet vocal courtesy of Tallman. Pure fire.
