Channel 24 South Africa is reporting that Bill Cosby has fired his high-powered legal team.
The move comes after Cosby was convicted of sexually assaulting Andrea Constand.
The team, led by Tom Mesereau, failed to sway jurors from convicting him of sexual assault in April.
The team have been replaced by a Philadelphia-area defense attorney with experience handling sex crimes cases.
Cosby is scheduled for sentencing on 24 September on three counts of aggravated indecent assault.
