Judging the shortlist: Mumsnet, Gransnet and Walker Books' Animal Stories writing competition

Get behind the scenes of Mumsnet and Gransnet's second annual story writing competition with Walker Books. This year, we asked parents and grandparents to submit their best animal stories, and received over 600 entries. Judging the shortlist to pick our winners were Children's Laureate Anthony Browne, Miriam González Durántez, partner at Dechert LLP, and Guardian and Stylist columnist Lucy Mangan.
