From Tamil Nadu to West Bengal, medical negligence stuns India; who'll fight for our lives

A 31 year old woman is now battling for her life due to alleged medical negligence in Kolkata. This after a reputed private hospital transfused wrong blood group post operation. She was operated on 5th of this month. But post operation instead of A+ blood which is her blood group the hospital has allegedly transfused AB+. She has suffered multiple organ failure. Now in ventilation. This is not the first time such incidences of medical negligence have come to lights. In a complete shocker from Coimbatore, a hospital staffer was caught asking for bribe to release patient’s body. Just 2 days ago a case of medical apathy had come to light where a janitor had to treat a patient because no doctors were available. All these incidences shed light on the appalling status of healthcare in India.
