The Mercado de la Paz is a municipal food market located in the Salamanca district ( Madrid ). It was built in 1879 with a modernism style , being the last of the municipal markets built in the nineteenth century. It was completely remodeled in the forties and its interior layout and facades were completely changed. Of all of them this and the Mostenses is working at the beginning of the 21st century (both deeply remodeled). It is a market that has about seventy stalls.
