In a gothic style the Doge’s Palace is a clever and creative inversion of structure. The light arches are below the massive second floor.
A smart allegory of the city on wooden columns and above the water.
The inside is made of majestic stairs and gigantic rooms decorated by Tintoretto, Titian, Sansovino, Veronese, tiepolo… a dream come true, the masters of the venetian school of colour in one place. A travel from gothic to manierism style
