Atlantic salmon leap up the Falls of Shin in Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands.

Salmon, brown trout and sea trout begin their annual epic migration up the River Shin to their spawning grounds at this time of year.

These Atlantic salmon are now under threat from an invasive species of Pacific salmon, which scientists have warned could wipe out the Atlantic salmon - an important part of the Scottish economy.

The footage was captured on June 3.
