Huge plumes of smoke billow from a building in Derby, East Midlands, after an explosion tore through a building in the centrally-located Friar Gate.
A bar opposite, Suds & Soda, told Newsflare that the affected building was a block of student flats.
There are a number of road closures in place, according to Derbyshire Police.
