Hey guys! This is part 2 of my miniature doll tutorial. In this video Im going to show you how to sculpt a basic head for a 1:12th scale miniature doll.\r
The average female should be about 14cm in 1:12th scale.\r
\r
The doll Im going to show you how to make is far from one of the most detailed dolls Ive made - its a fairly simple, basic miniature doll in 1:12th scale that I think would be great for beginners as Im not doing a whole lot of detail work.\r
\r
I sometimes get requests for making a tutorial for both a miniature baby and portrait dolls,. The baby is on my request list, but its not the easiest thing to sculpt in front of a camera (tiny,. camera in the way,.), so I cant promise when itll be up - not in the nearest future though.\r
As far as a portrait doll goes; I cant promise anything. Those dolls take a lot more time to make and Im also a lot more focused when making them, so having to worry about the camera angle is,.. well,. I dont like the risk of ending up with a hideous piece that looks nothing like that person.\r
