Why is there a dinosaur in the Eiffel Tower?

A 150-million-year-old dinosaur found in the United States will be sold at auction near Paris on Monday. Exposed on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, the species, unknown to date, is estimated to be worth up to 1.8 million euros. Part of the funds will be donated to associations including Sea Shepherd at the request of the current owner, while the rest will go towards further excavations.
