Wintry conditions didn’t stave off photographers and aurora enthusiasts in Tasmania from chasing the Southern Lights on June 1.Although the mercury dropped down to five degrees Celsius on Friday evening, according to AccuWeather, people from across the apple island braved the near-freezing temperature to see the display.This video, taken by Rob Parsons, shows the aurora beams shimmering above Turners Beach.
