Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal says he is "very happy" after his side's 1-0 win over Aston Villa, but that his team still have "a long way to go" to reach their full potential.

Adnan Januzaj scored the game's only goal from close-range after getting on the end of a clever pass from Juan Mata as the Red Devils took their unbeaten run at Villa Park to 20 league matches.

The victory means United have won their opening two games of a Premier League season for the first time since 2011-12 and have kept two clean sheets in their opening two games for the first time since 2005-06.
