Police have slammed a timewaster who dialled 999 to ask operators how to call the non-emergency 101 number. West Midlands Police yesterday shamed the dopey caller by releasing audio of the nuisance call on Tuesday (17/6). During the 30 second conversation the man bizarrely asks the emergency call handler whether he needs to put the 0121 area code for Birmingham in front of the 101 number.
