Pro-choice campaigner swallows abortion pill at Belfast protest

A pro-choice campaigner swallowed what is claimed to be an abortion pill at a protest in Northern Ireland.
In a video filmed today (May 31) outside Belfast's Laganside courts, a small robot is seen carrying the pills, one of which is taken by a protester.
In the clip, women are heard chanting “We won’t take it anymore” over megaphones.
Police later confiscated the pills and the robot.
The demonstration comes just days after voters in the Republic of Ireland voted to relax abortion laws following a historic referendum.
Access to abortion in Northern Ireland, however, is still limited.
"The action was also to raise awareness of the pills and to let women know how safe they are to take," the filmer commented.
