North Korea and the U.S. still have a wide difference in views on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula,... but it's possible to narrow that gap.
That's according to Seoul's unification minister who shared his views during a meeting with EU ambassadors to the nation.
Cho Myoung-gyon believes... even after Pyongyang and Washington agreed to hold a summit,... they weren't well aware of each other's stances, and therefore had some temporary ups-and-downs.
But he pointed out, both leaders taking part in the ongoing discussions with a top-down approach,... raises the possibility of finding some middle ground.
The minister added... his government feel it's best to strike the deal at once... to sort out the North Korea's denuclearization and America's guarantee of regime security.
