Brooklyn singer King Princess’ debut single “1950” received a major boost when former One Direction member Harry Styles tweeted lyrics to the song in March. The co-sign only added visibility to her status as Mark Ronson’s first signee to his newly-created label Zelig Recordings. The song has racked up over 73 million Spotify streams to date and is inspired by her experience with unrequited love.
