Back here in Korea...
The two-day candidate registration period for the June 13th local elections is now over and the numbers are in.
The election watchdog says more than nine-thousand-three hundred people have registered... with nine in the running for Seoul mayor.
The average nationwide competition rate is two-point-three-two candidates per vacant spot.
Koreans will choose the mayors, governors, chiefs of local councils and education superintendents who will represent them for the next four years.
