1. Reion\r
\r
1. Hold 2 balloons at about shoulder height and drop one of them.\r
2. Your child has to re quick enough to catchit before it drops on the floor.\r
3. Hold the balloons at your waist height to increasethe challenge.\r
4. Then try to use smaller balloons to further increase the challenge.\r
5. Initially hold the smaller balloons high up in the air again to give your child enough reion time.\r
6. the key is to adjust the size of the balloons that your child can catch at lead once within the first 5-7 tries\r
\r
2. Differentiation\r
\r
1. Throw a ball overhand through an open doorfrom a few meters away.\r
2. Once your child is successful, have it move one stepfurther back.\r
3. See how far they can move away from the doorand still be successful throwing it through the door.\r
4. Have your child stand sideways to throw overhead.\r
5. Initially have them start fairly close to the doorto be successful quickly.\r
6. Now for differentiation, throw the ball over a wallthrough the door.\r
7. It is challenging at this young age, go very closeto decrease the challenge.\r
8. Another differentiation: throw a frisbeethrough the door.\r
9. Your child should stand sideways to throw the frisbeeand not facing the door.\r
10. Start from close to the door and move your way further back.\r
\r
3. Balance\r
\r
1. Walk along a line, one step after another\r
without stepping off it and maintaining balance.\r
2. Your child should keep both feet on the line.\r
3. Try to change direction along a line to increase\r
the challenge.\r
4. Define a certain distance to cover to\r
successfully pass the exercise.\r
\r
4. Orientation\r
\r
1. Throw up a scarf above your childs head.\r
2. Your child then has to spin 360 degrees and catch the scarf before it drops on the floor.\r
3. Your child should not look up untill after they havespun around 360 degrees.\r
4. Catch the scarf 5 times spinning around clockwise, then 5 times counter clockwise.\r
\r
5. Rhythm \r
\r
1. Start with one foot on top of a soccer or basketball.\r
2. Jump to the opposite side with the inside foot tapping\r
the top of the ball and continue jumping sideways.\r
3. Start slowly first with stopping after every jump.\r
4. Speed it up and try to gain a rhythm.\r
5. To decrease the challenge, let some air out of the balls.\r
\r
6. Hand - eye coordination\r
\r
1. Squeeze a balloon out of your hand to then catch with both hands.\r
2. Squeezing it out of your hand is great for fine motor skills.\r
3. Squeeze the balloon strait up to have sufficient time to catch it.\r
4. Try squeezing the balloon with both your left and right hand.\r
\r
7. Physical ivity\r
\r
1. Jump with both feet simultaneously onto empty card boxes untill they are flat.\r
2. Use card boxes big enough for kids to have to jump high up in the air.\r
3. Get a couple of card boxes of different heights ready for kids to crush several.\r
4. Make the boxes completely flat, ready for recycling.\r
5. Teach your child the concept of recycling.
