Audi’s A6 sedan has been one of the most popular cars from Audi’s stable. It’s been a while since Audi showed some love to it. Now they have shown it some love with the 2015 A6 and they have thrown in some really clever gizmos, squeezed more performance out of the powertrain and the best part is that I had the pleasure of driving it.
We were in Udaipur, and we drove the new Audi A6 Matrix on the Mount Abu – Udaipur Highway. The Matrix headlight technology comes from the development and their experience in the 24 hours of Le Mans.
The engine is the same found in the old one and the A3 and the new Q3 but slightly better and improved for more power and better fuel efficiency. The 2 litre 4 cylinder TDI engine now churns out 190bhp instead of the 176bhp which you got from the old one. By upping the power Audi has also managed to increase the fuel economy by 5pc with and ARAI certified figure of 18.53kmpl. with air suspension and front wheel drive with dual clutch DSG S-Tronic 7 speed gearbox.
