NTSB Addresses Fatal School Bus Crashes

The National Transportation Safety Board concluded that two fatal school bus crashes resulted from poor oversight of drivers.
According to NTSB chairman Robert Sumwalt, the drivers are not solely at fault for a pair of crashes in 2016 that led to the deaths of 12 people, including 6 children.
Sumwalt added that in both instances, poor driver oversight by the school districts and motor carriers were partially responsible.
