This is the shocking moment a teen slips and crashes down a 30-feet waterfall in India.

The sixteen-year-old boy luckily survived and is recuperating at a hospital in Bangalore.

Nawaz Ahmed, 16, and his friend Ranganath, had gone on a biking trip to ThottiKallu waterfall near the city on May 17.

While Ranganath stayed at the base, Ahmed started climbing the slippery rocks to reach the crest of the falls.

As other revellers watched, he slipped and fell from a height of 30 feet.

An eyewitness Manoj Kumar, 36, told reporters: “The rocks were covered with algae and extremely slippery. It was not safe to climb them.”

Ranganath, who was recording Ahmed’s climb on his phone, caught the incident on camera and alerted locals. He rushed Ahmed to a nearby hospital and alerted the police as well.

The police have filed a case and taken possession of the video. They are waiting for Ahmed to recover to record his statement.
