In many states of North India, In Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and the national capital Delhi, heavy storms and rains have wreaked havoc on Sunday evening. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for the next two to three days. Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed all the district officials to stay in their district. The yogi has asked everyone to accelerate the relief work.
