Activists breach security at Windsor horse show days before royal wedding

Human rights activists breached royal security and jumped a fence into the main arena as Bahrain's Prince Nasser presented the Kings Cup at the Royal Windsor Horse Show this afternoon.

Activists opposed to the Bahrain regime were wrestled and dragged away by security.

It is understood that two people were arrested.

Queen Elizabeth II was pictured at the horse show at Windsor Castle in Berkshire.

It takes place from May 9-13 and includes international jumping and dressage events, among others.

The apparent security breach occurred just days before the queen's grandson Prince Harry and American Meghan Markle tie the knot at Windsor Castle next Saturday (May 19).
