This is my FIRST 4K video for this channel of the level crossing at Gillingham, my favourite level crossing in Kent, recorded on Friday 30th December 2016. This was my first closure I recorded here.\r
\r
In order for the video to be processed to 2160p footage, the video was uploaded as it was which meant I didnt trim it or add any subtitles. Despite that, the video is full 4K and can be played back between 360p - 2160p.\r

After visiting Gillingham, me and my younger brother wondered up from the town centre high street, past the railway station, to the level crossing. I was recording closures for about 45 minutes. This is one of the busiest crossings in Kent so many trains passed here heading either towards London or Faversham, Ramsgate or Dover.\r
\r
The level crossing still has the Unipart Rail Halogen Bulb Wigwags and there is no sign of any upgrade to LED wigwags which is good. The Unipart Rail LED Pedestrian Wigwag Modules have been here since Spring time in 2016. Theyre all working with no faults. One of them, oddly, doesnt have a hood/shade.\r
\r
SPX Fluid Power Barriers are still being used and are not likely to be replaced for a good number of years to come. None of the skirts hit the floor as of my last videos recorded at this crossing in September 2016.\r
\r
The yodalarms havent changed at all. They are still quite quiet, which is a little odd from my perspective but then there are resident houses nearby so the noise of the crossing has to be kept to a minimum.\r

A Double Set of Class 395 trains (Class 395 029 and 025) pass the level crossing (on-time) heading from London St Pancras International to Faversham. 45 seconds later, the second train comes which is a Double Set of Class 375 trains (Class 375 826 and 624). The trains pass the level crossing (on-time) heading from Dover Priory to London Victoria.\r
\r
I hope you enjoyed my first 4K upload of my favourite level crossing at Gillingham.\r
