2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman Driving Video

Ram completely redesigned the 1500 truck for 2019 featuring a mild hybridization system, an impressive optional 12.0-inch center screen, an active front air dam, and lots of new tech. Existing trims returning from the last-gen model include Tradesman, Big Horn, Rebel, Laramie, Longhorn, and Limited. Not unusual for a pickup, the Ram 1500 gets a full redesign nearly a decade after the previous model debuted. Given how long it has been and how important the Ram truck is to Fiat Chrysler’s lineup, the automaker deployed big changes for the new model year, including mild hybrid technology, a new frame with 98 percent high-strength steel, increased payload, and improved aerodynamics. The truck also receives a brand new design inside and out, although that means losing much of its signature look. Is it worth redefining the truck in the name of added refinement?
