ISLAMABAD: A sigh of relief for the residents of Karachi as sea breeze has neutralized the intensity of scorching weather, lately. However, hot weather is expected to persist in most parts of the country, met office said.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the temperature in Karachi, on Wednesday (today), is likely to hit up to 36 degrees Celsius maximum, while minimum temperature in the city will go down to 27 degrees Celsius.
Other parts of Sindh will continue to remain hot and dry with Hyderabad baking at 41 degrees Celsius and Sukkur sizzling at 40 degrees Celsius.
In Balochistan, hot winds will continue to blow and the temperature may further rise to 43 degrees Celsius in Turbat district, the met department forecasts. Nevertheless, there is some good news for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Malakand and Hazara divisions in northwest Pakistan as downpour is predicted by the PMD in these regions.
The sky will stay hazy as per the forecast for Islamabad and Peshawar.
