M6.9 Earthquake Rattles Home in Hilo, Hawaii

A M6.9 earthquake rocked Hawaii’s Big Island on May 4 at 12:30 pm, one hour after a M5.4 earthquake rattled the island.Officials from the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory told Maui Now the quake is the strongest in Hawaii since 1975.Video taken by Kristen Hasset shows her reacting to the earthquake rocking her house.
