This time of year is both exciting and nerve-wracking for college applicants. Opening those status updates can be totally scary but when it says "congratulations" then it's all worth it. However, you can never really know what the universe might throw at you. For Hailey Dollar, she might have been accepted into her dream school — the University of California, Berkeley — but not entirely in the way she had hoped.
