A hero policeman was killed after he pushed a pedestrian out of the way of a speeding car in central China.
Shocking video filmed in Jingshan County in Hubei Province on April 30 shows a car speeding into a crowd of pedestrians.
According to reports, the car kept beeping and driving around the streets at fast speed.
Police tried to stop the vehicle but failed, so they called for backup and tried to evacuate nearby people.
The car drove towards the crowds repeatedly.
Authorities named a policeman as Liu Guibin as the officer that sacrificed his life to save pedestrians.
Police arrested the driver and Liu was sent to hospital.
However, Liu and another pedestrian died and three other people were injured.
The precise cause for the motorist's driving is still unclear.
