"My Heart's Occupation" by Judith Hall, our second song with this fabulous artist! Our first track, "Out Of The Picture" was on "Northern Soul 2008". Out of all the tracks on the album, this was one of the few tracks that have become real sleepers, the ones you walk around all day singing, and just can't get the damn thing out of your head. Judith is just fabulous, so willing, so lovely, so co-operative, and such a warm hearted person, and it makes me proud to have artists of this calibre on Centre City Records. "My Heart's Occupation" is featured as a bonus track on my album "Soul Steppers", which was released in February 2009, and although it was just a bonus track on the DVD my fans seem to have really taken to it. The album has some classic retro soul, owing more homage to Gamble and Huff and the sound of Philadelphia and the mid 1970's rhythms, than to the usual Sixties style.
