Laura Pallas - Ski-Ing In The Snow

This floorfiller was a High Energy cover of the Invitations' old Northern Soul biggie, but this version became more well known to a much wider audience. Laura was discovered by Edwin Starr, who produced a couple of tracks on her in 1982. I then saw her at Heaven, doing a live gig on a Sunday night, and was hooked, and signed her to Record Shack in 1983 to record this.
