Ivy Jo Hunter - Love Running Through My Fingers

Ivy Jo Hunter is a musical genius. This song, by Ivy himself, was a major hit in the Carolina Beach Music scene, centered around Myrtle Beach. In fact so much so that The Wax Museum, run by Chris Beachley, actually arranged to have a special limited edition 45 pressed up just for the Carolinas, back in the very early 1990's. We filmed Ivy when he was recording it, and it's a pleasure to see a record which became such a cult, actually performed on video. The man who co-wrote "Dancing In The Street", "Ask The Lonely", and tons of other Motown classics. He was also an artist at Motown in his own right, on their much missed V.I.P. label. It was my pleasure to co-write many songs with him, including Frances Nero's "Footsteps Following Me', which was a pop hit in England, and particularly amazingly, after she hadn't recorded for twenty three years. Ivy had such a rich warm soulful voice, and I only wish he'd released more solo records over the years.
