U.S. Supreme Court Justice To Undergo Surgery

According to a spokeswoman, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor will undergo shoulder replacement surgery on Tuesday this week - two weeks after she broke her left shoulder in a fall at her home in Washington. The spokeswoman added that the 63-year-old will undergo a procedure called a “reverse total shoulder replacement." A statement said Monday, "Justice Sotomayor will curtail activities for the next few weeks while she recuperates.
