A recent study has added fuel to the traffic jam plight faced by people across India. It reveals that traffic jam in 4 metros costs more than the entire rail budget. It costs India a whopping 1.5 Lakh rupees not only is it frustrating to get stuck in snarling traffic, it also comes down heavily on Indian economy's pockets. Not to our surprise, the report reveals that rising population and a under developed public transport is only worsening the situation.
