Yesterday I lost focus in a big way, I did’nt have a massive stack of things on my plate and it just requires me to work through in a linear fashion, I’ve got a bunch of videos to create, some course notes to write and some client theme to build out — simple.
But somewhere after the first vlog of the day I lost my focus in a bad way — I’m not sure if it was distraction economy, food, the fact that I had coffee before food or what it was but I was kinda cycling around in it and lost, like a negative energy had just shot in from somewhere and I had trouble shaking it — looking at my Fitbit data it said I had hardly any REM sleep and that was a problem! :)
I just wanted to put a vlog out today that sometimes life is not pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows — see this post — for evidence of that (scroll to the bottom) — a little wake up morning blog to my other half (better half?) on the other side of the planet who will wake up to that shortly ;)
Anyway, if you’ve had a bit of a rollercoaster of a week I just wanted to tell you that everything is gonna be ok and you can reboot and start again, you don’t have to fit in, you can fall out, get deep and meaningful and get lost in it, you’ll come out the other side kicking and screaming into full on creativity mode — just keep the faith, go with your gut and eat your greens.
