China dragon boat disaster leaves 17 dead

Seventeen people died when their dragon boats capsized in a river in southern China.

In the video, captured in Guilin City in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on April 21, a dragon boat capsizes in Taohua river when trying to pass an overflow dam.

Another dragon that approaches to help also tips over.

More than 80 firefighters were dispatched to the scene site and 40 people out of a possible 57 people were rescued.
