AJ saves the life of young Hari, who is dumped outside the hospital with stab wounds but the boy refuses to name his attackers. When another injured youngster arrives Ruby discovers the cause of a feud between local fishermen. Lydia answers a call to visit Virginia Mileham, her old mentor and the hospital's founder, who is terminally ill and wants Lydia to help her go swiftly, which leads to Lydia striking a deal with her. Afterwards the staff attend Ram's wedding, where there are admissions from some of the guests.
