PM Narendra Modi all set to meet his counterpart Xi Jinping in Wuhan, China
  • 6 years ago
After a fructifying European trip where he met his counterparts Theresa May and Angela Merkel in London and Berlin respectively, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to meet his counterpart Xi Jinping in Wuhan in China later this week. The two leaders are expected to focus on the 'big picture' and shall be addressing long-term interests to forge conducive bilateral ties. Some of the obvious issues at hand are the China-Pakistan economic corridor passing through Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Tibet and the Dalai Lama and Chinese infiltration beyond the line of actual control. The Chinese side is looking with unusual anticipation at pm Modi's arrival at Wuhan in China for an informal and exclusive meeting of the two global leaders.
