The old men fight off gang of robbers with a broom

Two very brave old men from Indonesia managed recently to fight off a gang of four thieves with nothing more than a broom.

Dramatic CCTV footage, which was captured in Medan, North Sumatra on April 2, shows an old man sweeping outside his home when the gang of four men surround him on motorbikes.

The gang begins to rough him up but he refuses to submit and fights back with the broom.

He calls for help from a friend who now comes to his rescue and they manage to drive the robbers away.

The incident is being investigated by police, according to local reports.
