Crorepati Netas Congress' Hoskote MLA owns assets worth 709 crore

Battle for Karnataka is heating up and every day more and more interesting facts are emerging. The latest being the assets of congress leaders. Karnataka Energy Minister DK Shivkumar who filed his nomination on Thursday declared assets worth a whopping 700 crore. What is more shocking is that his assets have gone up by 589 crore rupees since 2013 assembly elections. Meanwhile in an another such case, Congress MLA from Hosakote MTB Nagaraj has also declared assets valued at 709 crore rupees. His wife Shantikumari owns assets worth 197 crore rupees taking the combined value to a 907 crore rupees. In fact, Nagaraj last year also came under income tax department's scanner.
