Injured lioness found in ladies' toilets after seeking a place to die peacefully

A severely injured lioness was found in the toilets of a South African game reserve after it sheltered in a cubicle to die in peace.
Video from the game reserve in KwaZulu Natal shows the sedated animal being loaded into a truck after it was discovered by a tourist in the ladies' toilets.
It had reportedly found its way into the restrooms after one of the staff at the game reserve left the toilets unlocked.
The animal had suffered from severe wounds and was very thin, later succumbing to its injuries, according to the filmer.
Pictures show the where the lioness was found sheltering inside a cubicle.
The clip was filmed on April 12.
