FREE EBOOKLET Traveling in Thailand is one of the easiest things you can do. Be it by train, bus or airplane, Thailand has one of the best transport systems for travelers!\r
\r
The ease of travel in Thailand has a lot to do with the general tourism of course. They know what people want, and where they want to go. That being said, Thailand has a deep culture of mass production, packing ingenuity, and pretty much everything being streamlined in terms of transportation. It all comes natural to Thais!\r

We traveled with a bike box each. Filled with a bicycle of course. A small extra fee had to be paid for both the train and bus, but it was by no means a lot of money. Travelling by train and bus in Thailand can be very cheap, ranging from 100-1000 baht for pretty long distances.\r
\r
Sleeping on the overnight train is awesome! You get your own compartment where you will be lulled into sleep by the rhythmic sound of rail tracks clacking. Truly the way to go when traveling far. Especially since you dont have to pay that extra night at the hostel!\r
\r
When you arrive at your train destination, there is almost always buses there ready for you to take you where you need to go. In our case, it took us to the pier of Donsak, close to Surat Thani. Suddenly youre on a boat, and before you know it youre on the Island of Koh Phangan. The boat stops at Koh Samui and Koh Tao as well, by the way.\r
\r
All in all, Thailand transport = no problem. Cheap, on time, reliable.\r
