How NOT to House a Tarantula - Tarantula Falls in Tall Enclosures - \r
My largest pet tarantula (burgundy goliath birdeater tarantula) gets stuck on the screen lid of its new enclosure, and then falls from a fatal height. Luckily it was fine, but I used this as a chance to demonstrate why large terrestrial tarantulas need a lot of substrate in their enclosures to prevent injuries from falls in tall enclosures. Hope you learn from my mistakes!
