Ford India has recently revised the prices of the new Ford Endeavour SUV. Adding to it, the company has also removed the entry-level variant from the Endeavour lineup citing its poor sales. The company has also added new features to the SUV, including the advanced SYNC 3 infotainment system. However, this system is only available with the top-end trim of the Endeavour and is claimed to have the best features that a Ford infotainment system has to offer. The new Ford Endeavour 2016 is now priced in the range of Rs 23.78 lakh to Rs 29.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Note – New prices dont include 1 per cent extra environmental protection charges applicable on SUVs with diesel engines over 2000cc capacity.\r

This advanced SYNC 3 is available in the two variants – the Endeavour 3.2L 4×4 Titanium and Endeavour 2.2L 4×2 Titanium. It is an advanced voice-ivated system that enables the driver to easily operate it via voice commands without looking at the screen.\r

The idea of building a plush, family four-wheel drive on a trucks ladder frame might seem like an odd recipe, but its given rise to some seriously popular family four-wheel drives. The Chevrolet Suburban has been carting American families around since the 1930s, and in more recent times Asia-Pacific buyers have been treated to a glut of truck based seven seaters. The Fortuner is Toyotas latest take on the formula, and weve spent a week behind the wheel to see how it handles life on the road, as well as off it.\r
Equally impressive is the cars composure on loose gravel roads. Even though it can be uncomfortable on the blacktop, the Fortuner is smooth as silk on unsealed trails, even when it comes to choppy washboard surfaces. Set to two-wheel drive, it feels a little bit loose, and can even be coaxed into getting sideways. Why youd want to powerslide a two-ton family barge is beyond us, but if thats near the top of your priorities list, the Fortuner might be for you.\r
