Divorce may be expensive but at least Russell Crowe managed to earn some of it back with his auction.
The ‘Gladiator’ star marked his 54th birthday on Saturday with a huge auction of his belongings – including his artwork and 28 watches.
But what, I hear you ask, was this delightful auction called? ‘The Art of Divorce’, of course.
He managed to fetch a whopping $3.7 million for selling his belongings - with one bidder paying $125,000 for the breastplate Russell wore in ‘Gladiator’.
The actor was reportedly pleased with the result, especially because he kept some items he didn’t want to sell.
