this lovely birthday cake gift box. You will need pretty paper, 3 nested hat boxes, birthday\r

and Im going to show you today how to make\r
this lovely birthday cake gift box. You will\r
need pretty paper, 3 nested hat boxes, birthday\r
candles, a glue stick, scissors, a pencil,\r
a glue gun, and a caulking gun. First off\r
to cover the boxes with paper, I just outlined\r
the lids of the boxes with the paper that\r
I wanted to cover it with \r
and then I cut out the circles. Next I covered\r
the entire lid of the box with a good smathering\r
of glue. I also covered the paper with it\r
too that I was going to glue on to it. In\r
order to do the sides, I made a mark on the\r
side and then rolled out the length of it\r
for one rotation. I marked the width of the\r
lid and used a straight edge to draw it out\r
so I could cut it out. Here are the covered\r
boxes, covered with the glued on paper. You\r
will find that the lids wont fit it very\r
well. They will fit too tightly on them at\r
first but with use the lids will get looser\r
and they will be easier to use. Next Im going\r
to hot glue the boxes together starting with\r
the top box. Next Im going to do caulking\r
for the icing for decoration. In order to\r
put the candles on top I cut a candle in half\r
and then hot glued it on to the top. Remember\r
dont light these candles! So as you can see,\r
each individual hat box is a good area to\r
put in your gifts and it is something that\r
